The King's Trust

Our Curriculum Intent

In the King’s Trust Department, we aim to help children to develop and apply communication skills with confidence to allow teamwork and collaboration to happen effectively. The King’s Trust curriculum allows all students to work towards and achieve a recognised qualification in a different learning environment, to that of the other subjects they study at Three Rivers Academy.

During the 2 years of completing the King’s Trust Achieve qualification, students will be able to explore units of work that are of interest to them to allow them to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them and to help them to become confident and assured adults.
