Update on Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

All THPT schools will be open as planned to start the new term.

To date, THPT have not been alerted to any issues with any of our buildings and the Department for Education has not requested any further measures at this time. The Trust has adhered to all DfE guidance and has completed inspections of all our buildings following the recommended procedures and protocols issued by the DfE since March 2022. All findings have been reported back to the DfE in accordance with their procedures. In line with all other schools and trusts, THPT remains in open dialogue with the DfE, and will update this message if the situation changes.
